Last week I was invited to talk Spring trends alongside my favorite jewelry gal and friend, Annette, with Stella & Dot. We were invited by Valerie Sweeten, the founder and editor of Hot in Houston Now; a go-to source for up to date news, events, family fun, food, the arts, and fashion happening in Houston . You can check it out here. We were joined by Elizabeth Parry, founder of the amazing, Parry Botanicals. Side note: I have been using her products for a week, and I'm hooked! I seriously could go on and on (and I will later this week!).
I love any opportunity to support other women in business...and talk fashion! So, we all came together at The Corkscrew in the Heights for a night of girlfriends, clothes, jewelry, skincare and wine!
Annette and I go way back to my days with Stella & Dot. I have always been a huge fan of their on-trend, affordable and quality jewelry (and now handbags!). The Spring Stella & Dot line goes hand in hand with all of the fashion trends you will see over the next couple of months. Fringe, tassels, delicate layers, and modern simplicity...they have it all. You can check it all out here. My personal favorites are here, here, here and here.
I brought along my rolling rack complete with fun Spring trends. Pastels, suede, feminine details, and flared denim will be everywhere. One of my absolute favorite Spring trends is the shirt dress. And, I have an obsession with this one by Trouve at Nordstrom. You guys, it's just good. It's long enough. It doesn't gape or pull. It isn't see-through. And, my favorite part, you can wear it now, and easily transition it as temps get warmer (which is already happening in Texas).
When it's cooler, pair this fab shirt dress with your favorite booties or over the knee boots. I tied the tie higher on my waist for an oversized shirt look, and put it over my leather mini for a date night. Cute and comfortable are my favorite mix!
We are super excited to talk more Spring trends in the upcoming weeks. We've got you covered!
Hope you all have a great week!
