Highlight and Contour. Friend or Foe?

I am not sure about you, but I have a love hate relationship with this whole highlight and contour kick everyone is on. It's all over Pintrest and make-up vlogs. Here are just a few reasons I have been annoyed by it : A) it adds more time to my morning getting ready routine B) its hard to do C) I don't even know what I am doing, and I am scared I am doing it wrong and making my nose look bigger or something.  One of my besties went to a "class" for it at Ulta, and OMG if I did not think she would kill me, I would post her picture on here! She looked like she had been playing in the mud; her face looked so streaky and dirty. My point is, if it is done right, AMAZING...if its done wrong, you look like you need a bath.

UNTIL NOW!!!!!!!

As I have mentioned before I love the blog Maskcara  . She is known for her amazing makeup skills, especially with the HAC (Highlight and Contour), and she came out with her own foundation: IIID Foundation Palette. Its amazing. It really is. It is so simple to do and looks so amazing.

There is no point in me going over how to do it when she has like 5 million videos teaching you how, but here are some pictures of the transformation.

Best of all, the price point! It is so incredibly reasonable and totally customizable based on your skin tone. You can check it out here! I love how dewy and luminous the cream consistency makes me look. If dewy isn't your style you can always set it with a translucent powder, which I do sometimes. If I want to channel my inner J. Lo and skip the powder (which I do most times) I set the foundation with Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

So, if you are like me and have always wanted to look like you were walking around with the perfect lighting at all times but did not know how to achieve it, look no further!
