One skirt SO many ways.

I recently bought this skirt online from Banana Republic because I was drawn to the ruching on the sides (and truth be told I was online ordering my tank that I have told you I am obsessed with in every color they make). I love this style of dress and skirt. I feel like it's really flattering and helps accentuate the bootie a la Kim Kardashian style....ok, maybe not THAT much! Anyway, it was delivered, I tried it on,  it was a keeper, hung it up and went about my day. I did not realize the potential of the little gem I had just scored. Holy COW! This skirt is the biggest multi-tasking piece I have in my closet. Not even kidding. I have worn this one "simple" little skirt a million ways already: dressed up for work, dressed down to girls happy hour, to church, on a date night, and as a swimsuit cover up. Major score! Here are some pics of the various ways I have worn it.

I met the girls for drinks and my feet hurt from wearing heels all day at work. I already told you how much I love these shoes and here is why...I mean how cute are they with a skirt?! AH! I just love it. Shirt is old from target but any graphic tee would be cute for this look like this, this, or this (by the way I want all three of these tees!!!).

This look could go a million places, but I wore it to church. This would be a great date outfit, drinks with friends, or even just running errands- just trade the wedges for flipflops or flats.  I love these wedges by Michael Kors. The gold is such a beautiful color, and they are super comfy. They are on sale too!  I tucked just the front part of my favorite tank in (that I am sure you are tired of hearing about) to create some shape. I added turquoise jewlrey becuase I love pink/salmon and turquoise together, it just screams summer to me! Both necklaces are old but similar here and here.

And last but certainly not least...a swim suit cover up! The funny thing is, I have been looking for a swimsuit cover up just like this for the summer. I was looking for an actual cover up and then I realized I had one! It was just not technically a cover up, but it does the job. My swimsuit is from last year but you can find similar here. You can find the hat here, on sale!

I now have fully convinced myself that I need to order another one of these skirts because clearly I will be getting my money's worth out of it this summer.
